Texas Groundwater Association (TGWA) Communications and Outreach Coordinator
Description: The Texas Ground Water Association is a 501(c)(6) association for the Texas water well drilling industry. TGWA works to promote the industry and facilitate cooperation and educational opportunities among water well drillers, pump installers, manufacturers, suppliers, geoscientists, and government and scientific agencies. The organization has more than 2,500 individual members and undertakes an annual TGWA Convention each January. It is also a leading provider of in-person and online continuing education classes for water well drillers and pump installers in the state.
This full-time staff person works closely with Texas Groundwater Association (TGWA) Executive Director to manage internal and external communications, outreach, and events for the Association. This position requires extensive contact with TGWA members and board, and occasional contact with the public, agency personnel, and legislators/staff. Essential functions include managing TGWA’s communications, marketing, branding, and member engagement, including print materials, the quarterly Fountainhead newsletter, website and social media content, member inquiries, and feedback tools. The position will also collaborate with the Executive Director on strategic planning, coordinate conferences and events, and support committees to advance the association’s mission.
