Meet Our Team

Bobby Bazan

Executive Director

​Bobby Bazan became the first-ever employee and full-time Executive Director of TGWA in January 2023. He comes to TGWA from the Post Oak Savannah Groundwater Conservation District, where he served as the Water Resource Management Specialist for nearly a decade. Bobby has also worked as a hydrologist for the U.S. Forest Service – Rocky Mountain Research Station. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University, where he holds a B.S. in Agricultural Systems Management and an M.S. in Water Management and Hydrological Science. He is also a graduate of the Texas Water Foundation’s Texas Water Leaders Program. 

Theresa Davis

Communications & Outreach Director

​Theresa Davis joined TGWA in 2024 after a decade in journalism. Davis has written about water, agriculture, and business in Texas, New Mexico, Wyoming and Utah. Her articles have earned awards from the Texas Press Association, Society of Professional Journalists, New Mexico Press Association, Wyoming Press Association and Utah Press Association. Davis grew up in the Texas Hill Country. Her work has spanned coverage of environmental impacts of the Gold King Mine spill, groundwater contamination on farms and ranches, aquifer storage and recovery, and habitat conservation initiatives. Davis is a graduate of Brigham Young University, where she holds a B.A. in Communications.
